![]() She had one particularly difficult foster that made her seek out the help of a trainer and through this partnership with Kari and Bone-a-Fide, Stephanie found a passion for dog training and helping others achieve their dreams for their dogs. As a teenager, Stephanie helped with the family dog, and was the sole person responsible to work with and take the dog to local obedience classes.Īs an adult, through fostering and rescue, Stephanie has had the opportunity to have multiple different breeds come through her home. ![]() It seemed even those dogs that were cautious or nervous around others enjoyed Stephanie’s company. Stephanie has loved animals since she was a child and would seek out neighbors with dogs so she could visit and play with them. Olive was born Deaf so Amy has experience with signing to communicate. Amy is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.Īmy has a Dachshund named Olive and a Bassadore named Gus. She is certified in Animal psychology, Pet CPR, and an ABCDT through Animal Behavior College. Amy had worked with many Animals from Lathrop Animal Control and seen the lack of training and unwanted dogs in the shelters.Īmy spent an 8 month externship with Kari Guidry through Bone-a-Fide Dog Training and volunteering at Escalon Animal Control. ![]() Amy especially was intrigued with pit bulls, following their Stigma in today's Society. She also worked as a Veterinary Assistant, at Venetian Pet Hospital in Stockton, and was working towards becoming an RVT, but realized her passion was more into Dog training and the Behavior analysis of aggressive dogs. She worked at Delta Humane Society, placing pets with new owners and serving the Stockton community. Amy is also the Owner and lead trainer at Perfect Pawsture Dog Training out of Escalon. In 2016 Kari became a Certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behaviour College (ABC) and in 2023 she started a new adventure as a certified Pet Tech Instructor teachiing Pet Frst Aid and CPR.Īdditionally, Kari is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and is Fear Free Shelter certified.Īmy is the Lead Trainer at the Escalon Dog Training Classes and has worked with Dogs for over 15 years, through her business Critter Sitter pet sitting and dog walking services. Professional development is important to Kari, and she is always looking for opportunities to expand her expertise. She was an apprentice with a local trainer and a Sirius Puppy Training Assistant before becoming an official Sirius instructor. Kari has been training dogs since 2009 in the Manteca/Stockton area. Kari works well with all breeds, sizes and personalities, but specializes in the larger breeds such as Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, and Labradors. Obedience training options are offered through group classes and individual private lessons.Īdditionally, we also provide consultations for problem behaviors in the home and specialized classes to ready handlers and their dogs for AKC competition trials.ĭog training isn't just a job for Kari, it is her passion, her joy in life, and she thrives when working with dogs and their owners giving them the tools they need to develop and maintain a healthy enjoyable relationship.
